Surah Yaseen is one of the most loved and recited chapters of the Holy Quran. The exact meaning of the word “Yaseen” is unknown, but it is believed to be from the Loh-e-Mehfooz (Preserved Tablet). بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
شُروع اَللہ کے پاک نام سے جو بڑا مہر بان نہايت رحم والا ہے
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful“

| 1. Ya, Seen. | یٰسٓ | یٰسٓ |
| 2. By the wise Qur’an. | قسم ہے قرآن کی جو حکمت سے بھرا ہوا ہے۔ | وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ |
| 3. Indeed, you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, | بےشک تم پیغمبروں میں سے ہو۔ | إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
| 4. On a straight path. | سیدھے راستے پر۔ | عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ |
| 5. This is a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, | یہ خدائے غالب اور مہربان کا نازل کردہ ہے۔ | تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 6. That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. | تاکہ تم ان لوگوں کو ڈراؤ جن کے باپ دادا کو نہیں ڈرایا گیا، سو وہ غفلت میں ہیں۔ | لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ |
| 7. Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. | ان میں سے اکثر پر بات ثابت ہو چکی ہے، سو وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے۔ | لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| 8. Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. | ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈال رکھے ہیں جو ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں، پس ان کے سر اوپر اٹھے ہوئے ہیں۔ | إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُونَ |
| 9. And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. | اور ہم نے ان کے آگے ایک دیوار اور ان کے پیچھے ایک دیوار بنا دی ہے، اور ان کو ڈھانپ دیا ہے، پس وہ نہیں دیکھتے۔ | وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ |
| 10. And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them—they will not believe. | اور ان پر برابر ہے، تم انہیں ڈراؤ یا نہ ڈراؤ، وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے۔ | وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| 11. You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. | تم تو صرف اسے ڈرا سکتے ہو جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور رحمٰن سے بن دیکھے ڈرے، تو اسے مغفرت اور عزت والے اجر کی بشارت دو | إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ وَأَجْرٍۢ كَرِيمٍ |
| 12. Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. | بےشک ہم ہی مردوں کو زندہ کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ وہ آگے بھیج چکے اور جو ان کے نشان پیچھے رہ گئے، ہم انہیں لکھتے ہیں، اور ہم نے ہر چیز کو ایک واضح کتاب میں شمار کر رکھا ہے | إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍۢ مُّبِينٍ |
| 13. And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it. | اور ان کے لئے ایک بستی والوں کی مثال بیان کرو، جب ان کے پاس پیغمبر آئے | وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ |
| 14. When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “Indeed, we are messengers to you.” | جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو پیغمبر بھیجے تو انہوں نے ان دونوں کو جھٹلا دیا، پھر ہم نے تیسرے کے ذریعے ان کی مدد کی، تو انہوں نے کہا: بےشک ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں | إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍۢ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ |
| 15. They said, “You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies.” | انہوں نے کہا: تم تو ہمارے جیسے بشر ہو اور رحمٰن نے کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی، تم محض جھوٹ بول رہے ہو | قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ |
| 16. They said, “Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you, | انہوں نے کہا: ہمارا رب جانتا ہے کہ ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں۔ | قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ |
| 17. And we are not responsible except for clear notification.” | اور ہمارے ذمے تو صاف طور پر پیغام پہنچا دینا ہے | وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ |
| 18. They said, “Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you from us a painful punishment.” | انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں تم سے نحوست لاحق ہوئی ہے۔ اگر تم باز نہ آئے تو ہم تمہیں سنگسار کر دیں گے اور تمہیں ہم سے دردناک عذاب پہنچے گا | قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ |
| 19. They said, “Your omen is with yourselves. Is it because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people.” | انہوں نے کہا: تمہاری نحوست تمہارے ساتھ ہے۔ کیا اس وجہ سے کہ تم نصیحت کیے گئے؟ بلکہ تم حد سے بڑھنے والے لوگ ہو | قَالُوا۟ طَآئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌۭ مُّسْرِفُونَ |
| 20. And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, “O my people, follow the messengers. | اور شہر کے دور دراز سے ایک شخص دوڑتا ہوا آیا، اس نے کہا: اے میری قوم! پیغمبروں کا ساتھ دو | وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌۭ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ |
| 21. Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided. | ان لوگوں کا ساتھ دو جو تم سے کسی اجر کا سوال نہیں کرتے اور وہ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں۔ | ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًۭا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ |
| 22. And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned? | اور مجھے کیا ہے کہ میں اس ذات کی عبادت نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے؟ | وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ |
| 23. Should I take other than Him false deities? If the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me. | کیا میں اس کے علاوہ دوسروں کو معبود بناؤں؟ اگر رحمٰن مجھے نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو ان کی شفاعت مجھے کچھ فائدہ نہیں دے سکتی اور نہ ہی وہ مجھے بچا سکتے ہیں۔ | ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّۢ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ |
| 24. Indeed, I would then be in manifest error. | اگر میں ایسا کروں تو میں کھلی گمراہی میں ہوں۔ | إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ |
| 25. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me. | بےشک، میں تمہارے رب پر ایمان لایا، تو میری بات سن لو۔ | إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ |
| 26. It was said, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “I wish my people could know | کہا گیا، “جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ۔” اس نے کہا، “کاش! میری قوم جان سکتی۔” | قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ |
| 27. Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.” | کہ میرے رب نے مجھے معاف کر دیا اور مجھے عزت والوں میں شامل کر دیا۔ | بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ |
| 28. And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so. | اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر کوئی لشکر نہیں بھیجا اور نہ ہی ہم (ایسا) بھیجنے والے تھے۔ | وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ |
| 29. It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished. | وہ تو ایک زوردار آواز تھی، اور وہ سب بجھ کر رہ گئے۔ | إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٱحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ |
| 30. How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him. | ہائے افسوس ان بندوں پر! ان کے پاس جو بھی رسول آیا، انہوں نے اس کا مذاق اڑایا۔ | يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ |
| 31. Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them—that to them they will not return? | کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی قومیں ہلاک کر دیں؟ وہ ان کی طرف لوٹ کر نہیں آئیں گے۔ | أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ |
| 32. And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us. | اور سب کے سب ہمارے حضور حاضر کیے جائیں گے۔ | وَإِن كُلٌّۭ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ |
| 33. And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. | اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی مردہ زمین ہے، ہم نے اسے زندہ کیا اور اس سے دانہ نکالا جس میں سے وہ کھاتے ہیں۔ | وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ |
| 34. And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to gush forth from it some springs— | اور ہم نے اس میں کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے باغ بنائے اور اس میں چشمے جاری کیے۔ | وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ |
| 35. That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful? | تاکہ وہ اس کے پھل کھائیں اور ان کے ہاتھوں نے اسے نہیں بنایا۔ تو کیا وہ شکر ادا نہیں کرتے؟ | لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ |
| 36. Exalted is He who created all pairs—from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know. | پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے ہر چیز کے جوڑے بنائے، ان چیزوں میں سے جو زمین اگاتی ہے، اور ان کے نفسوں سے، اور ان چیزوں سے جنہیں وہ نہیں جانتے۔ | سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٟجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ |
| 37. And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it the light of day, so they are [left] in darkness. | اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی رات ہے، ہم اس میں سے دن کو کھینچ لیتے ہیں تو وہ اندھیرے میں رہ جاتے ہیں۔ | وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ |
| 38. And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. | اور سورج اپنے مقرر راستے پر چلتا رہتا ہے، یہ غالب، علم والے کا مقرر کردہ ہے۔ | وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ |
| 39. And the moon—We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk. | اور چاند کی ہم نے منزلیں مقرر کر دیں، یہاں تک کہ وہ پرانی کھجور کی شاخ کی مانند ہو جاتا ہے۔ | وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ |
| 40. It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming. | نہ سورج کو یہ زیب دیتا ہے کہ چاند کو پکڑے اور نہ رات دن سے آگے بڑھ سکتی ہے، اور سب اپنے اپنے مدار میں تیر رہے ہیں۔ | لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ |
| 41. And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship. | اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی یہ ہے کہ ہم نے ان کی اولاد کو بھری ہوئی کشتی میں سوار کیا۔ | وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ |
| 42. And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride. | اور ہم نے ان کے لیے اس جیسی اور چیزیں پیدا کیں جن پر وہ سوار ہوتے ہیں۔ | وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ |
| 43. And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved | اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو انہیں غرق کر دیں، پھر نہ ان کا کوئی فریاد رس ہوگا اور نہ وہ بچائے جائیں گے۔ | وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ |
| 44. Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time. | سوائے ہماری رحمت کے اور ایک خاص مدت تک فائدے کے لیے۔ | إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ |
| 45. But when it is said to them, “Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy…” | اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اس کا خوف کرو جو تمہارے سامنے ہے اور جو تمہارے پیچھے ہے تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے۔ | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ |
| 46. And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom. | اور ان کے پاس ان کے رب کی نشانیوں میں سے کوئی نشانی نہیں آتی مگر وہ اس سے منہ موڑ لیتے ہیں۔ | وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ |
| 47. And when it is said to them, “Spend from that which Allah has provided for you,” those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Should we feed one whom Allah would have fed if He willed? You are not but in clear error.” | اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ کے دیے ہوئے رزق میں سے کچھ خرچ کرو تو وہ کافر ایمان والوں سے کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم اسے کھلائیں جسے اللہ چاہے تو خود کھلا دے؟ تم تو صریح گمراہی میں ہو | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ |
| 48. And they say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?” | اور وہ کہتے ہیں: یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو؟ | وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ |
| 49. They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. | وہ تو صرف ایک زور دار آواز کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں جو انہیں اس حال میں پکڑ لے گی کہ وہ جھگڑ رہے ہوں گے۔ | مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٟحِدَةًۭ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ |
| 50. And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return. | پھر وہ نہ کوئی وصیت کر سکیں گے اور نہ اپنے اہل کی طرف لوٹ سکیں گے۔ | فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةًۭ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |
| 51. And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten. | اور صور پھونکا جائے گا تو وہ فوراً اپنی قبروں سے اپنے رب کی طرف دوڑ پڑیں گے۔ | وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ |
| 52. They will say, “O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place? [The reply will be], ‘This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth.'” | وہ کہیں گے: ہائے ہماری شامت! ہمیں ہماری خواب گاہوں سے کس نے اٹھا دیا؟ یہ وہی ہے جس کا رحمٰن نے وعدہ کیا تھا اور رسولوں نے سچ کہا تھا۔ | قَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ |
| 53. It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us. | یہ تو ایک زور کی آواز ہوگی، اور وہ سب ہمارے سامنے حاضر کر دیے جائیں گے۔ | إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٟحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ |
| 54. So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. | پس آج کسی جان پر کوئی ظلم نہ کیا جائے گا، اور تمہیں وہی بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو تم کرتے تھے۔ | فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| 55. Indeed, the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation— | بےشک، جنت والے آج ایک خوش حال مشغولیت میں ہیں۔ | إِنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍۢ فَـٰكِهُونَ |
| 56. They and their spouses—in shade, reclining on adorned couches. | وہ اور ان کی بیویاں سایوں میں تختوں پر تکیہ لگائے بیٹھے ہیں۔ | هُمْ وَأَزْوَٟجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ |
| 57. For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]. | ان کے لیے وہاں میوے ہوں گے اور جو کچھ وہ مانگیں گے۔ | لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ |
| 58. [And] “Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord. | ان کے رب کی طرف سے سلام کہا جائے گا، جو نہایت رحم والا ہے۔ | سَلَـٰمٌۭ قَوْلًۭا مِّن رَّبٍّۢ رَّحِيمٍۢ |
| 59. [Then He will say], “But stand apart today, you criminals. | اور کہا جائے گا، “اے مجرمو! آج تم الگ ہو جاؤ۔” | وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ |
| 60. Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan—for indeed, he is to you a clear enemy? | کیا میں نے تم سے اے بنی آدم! یہ عہد نہیں لیا تھا کہ تم شیطان کی عبادت نہ کرو؟ بےشک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے۔ | أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌ |
| 61. And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path. | اور میری عبادت کرو، یہی سیدھا راستہ ہے۔ | وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ |
| 62. And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? | اور بیشک اس نے تم میں سے بہت سی مخلوق کو گمراہ کر دیا، تو کیا تم سمجھتے نہیں؟ | وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّۭا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ |
| 63. This is the Hellfire which you were promised. | یہ وہی جہنم ہے جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا گیا تھا۔ | هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ |
| 64. [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny. | آج اس میں داخل ہو جاؤ، اس انکار کے بدلے جو تم کرتے تھے۔ | . ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ |
| 65. That Day We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn. | آج ہم ان کے منہ بند کر دیں گے، اور ان کے ہاتھ ہم سے بات کریں گے اور ان کے پاؤں گواہی دیں گے، جو وہ کرتے رہے۔ | ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٟهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ |
| 66. And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to the path, and how could they see? | اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کی آنکھیں مٹا دیتے، پھر وہ راستہ کی طرف دوڑتے تو انہیں کہاں دیکھتا؟ | وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ |
| 67. And if We willed, We could have deformed them, paralyzing them in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return. | اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو انہیں ان کی جگہ پر مسخ کر دیتے، پھر وہ نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے اور نہ واپس لوٹ سکتے۔ | وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّۭا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ |
| 68. And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand? | اور جس کو ہم لمبی عمر دیتے ہیں، ہم اس کی ساخت کو الٹا دیتے ہیں۔ تو کیا وہ عقل نہیں کرتے؟ | وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ |
| 69. And We did not give him [i.e., the Prophet] knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’an. | اور ہم نے اسے شعر نہیں سکھایا، اور نہ ہی یہ اس کے لائق ہے۔ یہ تو محض نصیحت ہے اور واضح قرآن۔ | وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ وَقُرْءَانٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ |
| 70. To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. | تاکہ وہ اسے ڈرائے جو زندہ ہے اور کافروں پر بات ثابت ہو جائے۔ | لِيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّۭا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ |

Do they not see that We created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners? | کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان کے لیے اپنی قدرت سے چوپائے پیدا کیے، اور وہ ان کے مالک ہیں؟ | أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًۭا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ |
| 72. And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. | اور ہم نے انہیں ان کے لیے تابع کر دیا، ان میں سے بعض ان کی سواری ہیں اور بعض کو وہ کھاتے ہیں۔ | وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ |
| 73. And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful? | اور ان کے لیے ان میں فوائد اور مشروبات ہیں۔ تو کیا وہ شکر نہیں کرتے؟ | وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ |
| 74. But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. | اور انہوں نے اللہ کے علاوہ معبود بنا لیے ہیں کہ شاید وہ ان کی مدد کریں۔ | وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ |
| 75. They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. | وہ ان کی مدد نہیں کر سکتے، اور وہ خود ان کے لیے تیار کیے گئے لشکر ہیں۔ | لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّحْضَرُونَ |
| 76. So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. | پس ان کی باتیں آپ کو غمگین نہ کریں۔ بیشک ہم جانتے ہیں جو وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔ | فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ |
| 77. Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop—then at once he is a clear adversary? | کیا انسان نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے اسے نطفے سے پیدا کیا، پھر وہ اچانک کھلا جھگڑنے والا بن گیا؟ | أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ |
| 78. And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?” | اور اس نے ہمارے لیے ایک مثال بیان کی اور اپنی پیدائش کو بھول گیا۔ کہنے لگا: “ان ہڈیوں کو کون زندہ کرے گا جب وہ بوسیدہ ہو چکی ہوں؟” | وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ |
| 79. Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.” | کہہ دو: انہیں وہی زندہ کرے گا جس نے انہیں پہلی بار پیدا کیا، اور وہ ہر طرح کی تخلیق کا علم رکھتا ہے۔ | قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ |
| 80. It is He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. | جس نے تمہارے لیے سبز درخت سے آگ پیدا کی، پھر تم اس سے آگ جلاتے ہو۔ | ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًۭا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ |
| 81. Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. | کیا وہ جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا، اس پر قادر نہیں کہ ان جیسے پیدا کر دے؟ کیوں نہیں! اور وہی سب کچھ پیدا کرنے والا، سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے۔ | أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٟتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ |
| 82. His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, “Be,” and it is. | اس کا حکم یہی ہے کہ جب وہ کسی چیز کا ارادہ کرتا ہے تو اسے کہتا ہے “ہو جا” اور وہ ہو جاتی ہے۔ | إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ |
| 83. So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. | پس پاک ہے وہ ذات جس کے ہاتھ میں ہر چیز کی بادشاہت ہے، اور اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔ | فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ |
